Hello, I am Jessica.

Hello, thank you for stopping by to learn more about me! I have always loved photos, but my passion for being behind the camera began after the birth of my eldest daughter, Arianna, also know as the “Little Bird.” She received this nickname from one of her teachers because her hair was feathery and used to stick straight up just like a bird! It’s one of my favorite memories of her. I love looking back at photos of that hair and laughing. Better yet - all three of my kiddos have had that hair!

Why photography?

Memories are why I began this journey. Arianna was growing so fast, and I wanted to capture every single moment so that we would always have something to remember this short time in our lives by. Photography quickly went from being a fun way to capture every moment of our lives and fill my walls with memories to a full blown passion. I love being able to offer this very same thing to my clients.

A little more about me

First and foremost, I am a mom. I have 3 children Arianna (Little Bird), Karis (Middle Bird), and JJ (Baby Bird). They bring me more joy than I ever could have imagined.

My husband and I were the best of friends for years before we entered into a relationship. We just celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary in January. He is my biggest supporter.

I am pursuing my doctorate in education and teach classes at a local university. Education is and always has been very important to me.

I am an avid reader. My favorite book series is Harry Potter, but I absolutely love anything by Brandon Sanderson. I highly recommend The Way of Kings.

I absolutely HATE cooking. My husband is the chef in our family. We recently discovered Hello Fresh and have been really enjoying that! Maybe once a week, I'll attempt to cook a meal. My husband usually complains that his stomach hurts afterward!
