Maternity Sessions

You've heard that every pregnancy is different and it is absolutely true. Each pregnancy is unique, beautiful and a time to be celebrated. Maternity sessions are customized to tell your story whether it be a gorgeous location shoot or an intimate studio session. Each session is designed to celebrate you, your changing body, and your baby with a goal to make you feel beautiful both inside and out. You will be posed to make you look and feel your absolute best. Maternity sessions are best scheduled between 32-36 weeks as this is the best time to showoff your changing body, but you aren't too tired and uncomfortable yet.

Maternity Photography Q&A

You have full access to the client closet (optional) located at the LBP studio in Shavertown, PA. With all of those details taken care of, here are a few things that you can do to prepare yourself for your Maternity session.

1. When to book: The best time to photograph your session is between 32-36 weeks as this is the best time to showoff your changing body, but you aren't too tired and uncomfortable yet. Weekend availability is limited so it is better to book sooner than later. There is much more flexibility on weekday evenings.
2. Your vision: What is your vision for your maternity photography session? If you close your eyes, is it a beautiful outdoor location at sunset, intimate studio session, or a glam goddess session? Partners and children are always welcome to participate at no additional cost.
3. What to wear: You will have access to my client closet at no additional cost, but are not required to use any of them. There are a number of great places to buy or rent maternity gowns and I am more than happy to discuss style options for you and your family.
4. Details: Sessions will lost approximately one hour. I will pose you so that you are both comfortable and look and feel your best. My goal is to capture this special moment in your lives and the connection between you, your baby, and your partner/children.
5. After the session: I will edit one or two photos for you as a sneak peek but will then send you the unedited gallery proof for you to choose your favorites. Once your favorites are chosen, I will edit those and send them back to you. Average turnaround time depends on the time of year, but will not extend longer than 30 days from the session date.
